Malvern Systems Launches Endicia Online Postage InterfaceFor
Immediate Release: MALVERN, PA – Malvern Systems, Inc. proudly announces the launch of a new means for processing US Postal Service (USPS) parcels. Using technology provided by www.endicia.com, the Malvern Manifest System can now provide an efficient and cost-effective alternative to metering and postal manifesting. One
of many standard options in this product, Stealth Indicia allow merchants
to capture additional revenue (usually in the form of handling charges)
without drawing attention to the practice. That is, the difference between
the postage paid by the merchant and the amount charged to the customer
(handling charge) is not clearly evident on the parcel. Using Information
Based Indicia (IBI) postal technology, Stealth Indicia are an approved
form of USPS postage evidencing that hides the postage amount paid by the
shipper from the shipping label. Processing
shipments is fast and efficient, taking as few as three seconds per
package. When a user
processes a shipment, postage is automatically deducted from a
prepaid online account. A shipping label is generated by a thermal label
printer and, in seconds, the user can move on to the next parcel for USPS
or any other carrier. There
is no need to produce an end-of-day manifest or to use a physical postage
meter. Malvern
designed the Endicia Online Postage Interface for shippers processing five
to five hundred USPS domestic or international parcels per week.
However, there are no volume requirements or limitations. In
addition to offering this new means of processing USPS parcels, Malvern
continues to provide and support three alternatives for USPS parcel
processing: manual metering, interfaces to third-party Postage Meters, and
Postal Manifesting. The
Malvern Manifest System is a PC-based, multi-carrier shipping system with

shopping, multi-account processing, third-party insurance, custom-defined
